BHIM App Launched | What it is | You Need To Know Everything

On Friday 30 December 2016 Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi launched a United payment interface based Android application called BHIM App. Here BHIM stands for Bharat Interface for Money.

With BHIM App you can make digital payments to anyone directly to their bank account. It is a UPI based app which allows you to pay or receive money through online banking.

In wallets you have to load Money first and then transfer but from UPI Applications you can transfer money directly from your bank account to another bank account.

BHIM App can be used in smart phone as well as in feature phone. There is no need to have Internet connectivity If you are using it on feature phone. For feature phone USSD based interface is available.

Prime Minister Modi says BHIM App will work on every device whether you have a smartphone or a feature phone.  There is no need of Internet to use it. Currently some security features are under testing. Soon you can make payment through Thumb Impression. Prime Minister Modi says there was a time when an illiterate was called Angootha Chhaap. Now the time has been changed. Your Thumb is your identity. He says with the help of this app they help poor people small businesses and the society.

What is BHIM App ?

BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) With this application anyone can send or receive money digitally. This app is linked to your bank account. you don’t have to load money to wallet and then transfer like the most of the App does. Money can be directly transfer to the bank account.
